On a forum I run, someone posted his perspective on people who carry guns. It has sparked a lively debate on the merit of carrying, criminals, and society issues. ...

"carring pf-9 with chambered round". Just in case they come back...

As I've had a nice weekend ignoring the internet, I need a little softball pitch of a blog entry to get back into the week. Bear with me on the lack of content.
Friday night as I roamed the streets near my house pondering what kind of food to put in ...

In the past 6 months, my range time has seriously diminished. Where I used to hit the local ranges once or twice a week, I now shoot once a month if I'm lucky. Saturday was one of those days and, as I haven't blogged about anything lately, I feel compelled ...

An update to the sad story of a police officer who shot at a snake and killed a 5 yr old boy. I had an entry on this about a month ago.
It seems that they are going for second degree manslaughter.
District Attorney Greg Mashburn identified the officers as Brad Rogers ...

I happened onto this story in the NY Daily News thanks to Say Uncle.
Not surprisingly, the criminals like cheap guns but it seems to me that they are overpaying?
Selling for as little as $250 on the street, the High Point 9-mm. dominated a list packed with cheap firepower.
I'm pretty sure ...
